women of faith conference 2008 - infinite grace

My Mom and I first attended the Women of Faith Conference back in Fall 2003 when I was in eighth grade. It was such an amazing time of fellowship with other Christian women and just taking 24 hours to spend time laughing and crying and listening to stories of God's grace and amazing-ness! We attended in 2004 in Vancouver again, and then in 2005 in Seattle, and I think again in 2006 in Seattle? I'm trying to remember, but I know my Mom and I have been at least three times. There was a conflict the last two years with the dates, as Women of Faith is no longer making the trek up to Vancouver, Canada and Seattle is our only other option! I believe the Conference was in Seattle at the end of June 2008, but it was my high school grad weekend and it just wasn't going to work out.
However, we saw it was in Portland, OR on October 10th and 11th and were so excited! We've been looking forward to this since last Spring...well pretty much since we left the last Women of Faith Conference. Portland, OR is soooo beautiful. I am not that familiar with the city (we've only been here once or twice, I think?) but I can't wait to get outta the hotel here in a few minutes and see some sights on the way to dinner downtown. I love the Northwest; Vancouver, Seattle, Portland...some pretty amazing cities. Every year the conference has a theme, some of the ones in the past have been "The Great Adventure," "Irrepressible Hope," "Contagious Joy," and this years is "Infinite Grace." I always leave so refreshed and inspired! I had a wonderful sleep in (I consider 8 o'clock sleeping in!) this morning in our Seattle hotel and I am just so pumped for this three day vacation.

Attending a Women of Faith Conference is on my to do list. I am glad you've been able to experience them with your Mom. They sound great! :)
