joe&jodie + mary&ernest | family

Mary contacted me quite a few months ago about setting up a family session for her and her husband Ernest as well as her brother Joe and his wife Jodie. Joe and Jodie have lived in Los Angeles for the last year and a half, so when we finally co-ordinated a date where the whole fam would be in one place--back in Vancouver. I was terrified it was going to rain--especially since we had a limited window before Joe and Jodie were on their way back to sunny California. The rain managed to hold out just fine (a few sprinkles but nothing major!) and I had such a fun, fun time with this bunch. I was pretty much laughing the ENTIRE time; and that is not an exaggeration--if you have ever spent an hour with me, you know when I laugh my whole face gets into it. My cheeks hurt after this shoot--a good sign of some good company. Thanks again fam! Mary and Joe, I hope your mom enjoys these photos as her surprise Christmas present. :)

The whole fam! Dogs included. Meet Nelson & Joey. Yes that's right. In this group of six we have a Joe, who married Jodie, and then Mary's dog named Joey, after Joe.





The dogs just like to chill on yellow slides sometimes.

I love that they were up for completely random posing on playgrounds!
