in the city.

Here are a few more photos from my trip so far! These were taken on Thursday, when we spent the whole day in the city. Starting at Laura's, one of Sarah's past interns, apartment that she shares with her sister. We walked to the beach and hung out on the beautiful and hot sand of the Michigan Lake. That was really cool; I have never seen a lake so huge--if you blindfolded me and dropped me on that beach I would have sworn it was the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean for sure! We just spent a chill hour or so there, just talking and me and Laura sharing indie bands that we adore. Haha!
Next, it was back to Laura's apartment to just hang out some more, before we went to Whole Foods for lunch. I think we have one right downtown Vancouver, but I've probably been there only once? If that. And I definitely haven't ate there. They have a great section with hot food and a salad bar. Add in some more hanging out and relaxing time, finished with some incredible americano at the coolest coffee bar Laura showed us. Such a fun day!
This is my "I'm drinking really good coffee" face.
We saw this in a store window. We affectionately named it the world's ugliest wedding cake.
Some quick shots from Laura's apartment: so amazing.
Of course, last night was another fun day, as we celebrated Sarah's friend Steve's 23rd birthday at a restaurant. We did not stop laughing for about four hours. After that, Natalie and I laughed so hard we were crying, and I'm pretty sure that is laughter is the best medicine I'll be healthy until I'm 82. Yeah. It was THAT bad. I think Sarah and Vicky would testify to that.

Looks like it is SUCH a fun trip! I know you must be having a blast!!
Oh Jamie! Girl after my own heart. When I was 16, my Mom took my brother and I to Chicago via the train. We went to the top of Sears tower and I said, "Mom, look at the ocean"!!! This man gave my Mom a strange look and said that her daughter needed a geography lesson. That's what we get for having the Pacific Ocean close by. Have a great day.
alligator. sticky note. necklace. laundry. falling down the stairs. photobooth videos. falling on the floor in two separate parts of the house because of such intense laughter. blah. fruit shakes from the bathroom. :) HAHAHAH ahhhh good memories;)
