featured: my favourite 10.

A couple of weeks ago, I joined a facebook group for Vancouver Wedding Photographers. Hold the phone for a sec: can I just say how much I LOVE facebook? Not only is it a fun way to waste a few minutes a day, but it's also great marketing for me. I have a facebook group and a facebook page (both of which are a month behind in updating, but hopefully that will change in the next few days): my clients have left the sweetest/nicest reviews about me and my photography and I just think it's so much fun! Check out this latest review from Denis and Abby:
"I hadn't met Jamie until our engagement shoot, so I didn't know what to expect! The shoot went by really smoothly and we had a lot of fun together! She is definitely talented, and I'm so glad I got her now, because in a couple of years, I probably wouldn't be able to afford her. She's got a great eye for detail and is very laid back in her approach, which was nice. We were quite efficient in getting our photo shoot done in only an hour, and I credit Jamie and her great eye for that.
She also understands the needs of her clients and how excited we get to see our pictures! The teasers were up within 24 hours, despite her having to do a wedding, and the slideshow was up in around 2-3 days, which is incredible. You can read my wall and see just how many great comments we've received on our pages - it's like we just got engaged.
Can't wait to see what the wedding pics are going to look like!"
Isn't that SWEET?!
But back to why I started this entry! So, in our Vancouver Wedding Photographers group, which was created by Tracey Heppner, they are featuring a different photographer every week. Tracey asked me to kick it off! (Thanks Tracy!) Part of the requirements were to pick some of my favourite 10 wedding photographs that show my 'style'--Here are 10 from this year's wedding season. And I can't say that these are my absolute favourites, because I have NO IDEA how I would decide that for sure. But I do like these! :)
Tamara's beautiful dress:
Another shot from Tamara + Dean's wedding: I just love the rush of light coming in from the open church doors, and Tamara with her dad.
They had a really fun bridal party as well--we did some walking in the streets.
Arguably, my favourite recessional image from this year! Chris+Lesia look so joyful.
They also had rockin' dance skills.
Oh, Michael and Emma! So ADORABLE together.
The next two shots are from Mike and Amanda's wedding in July. Love it!
Love this moment too, by a dirty old fence on the Sunshine Coast for Nathan and Paula's wedding.
Possibly my favourite mother/daughter capture: from Taylor and Lisa's wedding.
I enjoyed that walk down memory lane: hope you did too! :)
