happy father's day!

We've been enjoying a beautiful "almost-summer" day today. First it was church in the morning, and then we had family over for a early afternoon barbecue. We've just been hanging out and playing a little croquet (it gets quite competitive in our family)--my Dad has also been enjoying his new big screen TV. No, we did not buy him that as a father's day gift! He bought it himself a few months ago, because the man is completely obsessed with having all his HD channels now on an HD TV. He's been watching golf (US Open) on it this afternoon in our basement. Doesn't sound too bad, except that we've had a tenant living in our basement for the last five years who just moved out. Meaning there is no furniture down there or anything. Just a TV on the floor, and my Dad sitting in front of it.

Anyhow, I love you Dad and Happy Father's Day for the 18th year in a row. That's a pretty good record. :)
