Mike + Amanda | engagement

I met Amanda and Mike for the first time almost exactly a month ago. We met at the local Starbucks to talk about their wedding plans for their outdoor summer wedding in Surrey on July 26th. I loved these two from the first time I met them! They are so comfortable with each other, it's so easy to photograph. They were probably one of my "least nervous" couples ever! I had a ton of fun with you two, you both kept me laughing! I cannot wait til the wedding day and I'm looking forward to all the Tiger in the grass poses, Mike. (I'll leave the rest of you to figure that one out!)
We started off in my favourite little part of Cloverdale...the scummy back alleys. Mike and Amanda really trusted me! :)
Found this great blue door that co-ordinated oh so well with their outfits.
Love the crisp clean colors in this one:
The rock:
One from my favourite series of last night.
The owner of this Chinese takeout place was a little confused as to why we were sneaking around his back door...but at least he let us.
From scummy back alleys, to a random patch of "tall things": translation from Jamie's language to real world language--weeds, grass, dandelions.
Amanda hoped on Mike's back in order to get over some of the tall grass, I turned around and I said hey, hold that right there and caught these shots.
This is adorable; they were blowing those once-a-dandelion-now-a-white-thing flowers (what would be the scientific name?) and that's what is in the air around their heads. I like how it turned out!
