second-shooting | wedding

On Saturday I drove down to the Langley Golf Centre for about six hours to second-shoot for Michael Wachniak, a White Rock wedding photographer. I love second-shooting! It's less pressure than being a primary shooter, and it's just fun to be able to capture some of the random details while the primary shooter is getting all the "must-have" shots. It was a completely relaxed day, and I didn't shoot a ton of photos, but here are a few detail shots. :) Oh, and check out Michael's view of the day, by clicking here.
The room had tons of natural light!
Simple, fresh centerpieces.
Flowergirls! Gotta love them; this wedding had four!
The infamous cake topper...the bakery dropped the cake off sans topper and the sister of the bride spent the first three hours of the day tracking them down and bringing them back with the miniature bride and groom!
Cake and the topper...together at last.

Jamie,
Dave and I both just had a look at the photos that you have posted, and they look amazing.
I thank you for accepting the 2nd shooter job, as it allowed for a different angle on the photos. I cannot wait till I get to see all the photos.
Sandra
