arizona meet-up

Admist the turmoil of the last 48 hours of our vacation, I still managed to meet up with some Arizona photographers for lunch on Wednesday. When we were trying to re-arrange our flight in order to accomodate my Grandpa's funeral, I was really (selfishly) hoping that I would still be able to go to the photographer's lunch we had planned on Wednesday. My parents are so supportive and amazing when it comes to my photography career, and we managed to drive the 7 hour drive to Vegas after our lunch in Mesa, Arizona.

Jen Schleicher, Melissa Jill, Rachel Priddy, and Myself, of course, met at the Chevy's mexican restaurant in Mesa in the afternoon for some great food and fellowship. Thank you guys all so much for coming and sharing your knowledge and laughter with me! I absolutely love my career sometimes--no, all the time! (Except maybe when I'm on the computer for yet another hour editing, and my eyes feel like falling out of their eye sockets. I'm not too fond of that feeling.) I'm part of an online photo forum called OpenSourcePhoto and it's the greatest place for networking and meeting other photographers across North America. OSP is the place that I connected with Jen, Melissa and Rachel and I'm so glad I did. Thanks again for the great lunch girls, I'm glad to have met you all and shared a little about business and photography. :)
