the year in review.

It's icy. It's raining. There's snow on the ground. My Nikes will get wet. My dog looks tired. I don't have gloves to keep my hands warm. My sweatshirt is in the wash. I'm too full. It's Christmas; I'm supposed to be relaxing. <-- ALL excuses that I have told myself for the past month! Yes, it's been a month since I went for a run. Hey, now, be fair. I have been working out INDOORS but nothing compares to an outside run. So I did it: All the snow has melted, it wasn't raining, it's a mild 7 degrees Celsius. Mind you, it took me a long 25 minutes to run 3.5km, but the important thing is that I did it! And running somehow gets me in the bloggin' mood. I thought I would just reflect on the past year, the wonderful 2007.

Here's some of the beautiful and blessed things God granted me in 2007.
*I got baptized
*Opened Jamie Delaine Photography
*Met amazing clients and had a BLAST making money at what I love.
*Recieved my Driver's License
*Second-shot a handful of weddings with some truly great photographers.
*Travelled to California, Washington, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, England and Germany.
*Had dinner with fellow photographers Chris and Lynn Jaksa and Tim Co.
*Entered my last year of high school
*Recieved my acceptance letter to Trinity Western University where I'll be studying business next year.

I'm excited for what 2008 will bring. It's a total mystery, but I know God has amazing things planned!
