rainbows are full of promise.

Isn't that BEAUTIFUL? Tuesday afternoon, I was working on the computer when I happened to glance outside. WOW!!! Right outside our front porch, was the most BEAUTIFUL rainbow I have ever seen. It seemed to end a hundred feet in from of us, it was amazing. It was a full arc. I desperately grabbed my camera and tried to capture it. The top part of the arc was a little more transparent, but wow, wow, wow. I have never seen anything so vibrant and (literally) awe-some in my life.
Vancouver had crazy weather this week. Both my shoots got "snowed out" last weekend, due to eight inches of constant snow from Saturday morning to Sunday night. Sunday night came and a warm wind blew through. The temperature went up from 0 degrees to 12 degrees Celsius within two hours. It poured rain (and washed away our beautiful snow) up until 20 minutes before this rainbow appeared.
The beauty of it all inspired me to grab my Nikes and I hit the road running with my dog Taylor. How creative is our God?! Wow. :)

WOOHOO! You got it!
I was driving to the Guildford rec centre and I was kicking myself in the butt for not having my 5D handy!!! :(
I did my best with my cell phone camera but... of course, it doesn't do justice to the beauty!
Wasn't it amazing? My dad called me from his office in Burnaby about five minutes after I came back inside to let us know. I guess the whole Lower Mainland saw it. So gorgeous!!
P.S. I would not be kicking myself in the butt if I HAD a 5D. I'd be patting myself on the back. :)
