new things: my workspace & christmas cards.

I promised these pictures over three weeks ago, and here they are! For about a week now, I've been operating from my fabulous new iMac and my home office.
As you can probably see: I didn't do any "cleaning" or "primping" before I took this picture! Hey, it's reality: it's how I work, and somethings are OK being imperfect, right? Let me explain how it all came together!
iMac: found proudly on Craigslist--literally called the buyer 10 seconds after he listed it (I got lucky!), and paid for it that evening. Woohoo! Who doesn't love a deal?
Desktop & Legs, Silver Candle Holders, White Bullentin Boards: IKEA purchases.
Four 5x30 inch prints of Europe, mounted on 2mm syrene, arranged in a collage from WHCC (my photo lab). From top to bottom, they feature Rome, Lake Lucerne, Paris, and London.
Gilmore Girls DVDs: I have 'em all. It will forever be my favourite show. My mom and I have seen every episode more than we can count. Watching them while studying for Literature may not be the "best" idea--but it gets me through.
Post-it notes: essential to getting things done.
On the bullentin boards: Letters from my Dad and my Mom, as well as from a "previous me" three years ago. I just recieved all 3 last week at my Grade 12 Graduation Breakfast my school hosts annually.
Adorable white vintage square frames: a purchase my Grandma made and changed her mind about... Another score. I suppose I should really find some pictures to fill them!
And some miscellaneous items: a closed English Lit textbook, a stack of back-up DVDs and Music CDs, An "I heart my dog" picture frame that desperately needs a picture in it, and a clock that has no batteries.
There you have it! I love it. It's SO nice to have a space to call my own office.
Now, onto business: Jamie Delaine Photography has started offering CHRISTMAS CARDS for the holiday season. Below are a few examples of designs we offer, and we can also custom design a family card if you wish.
The cards are $55 for a pack of 25, which includes the envelopes.
If you'd like to purchase some cards, be sure to email in the next 2 weeks in order to have your cards by the beginning of December.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend, everybody!
