All About the Number 4
Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 5:09 PM
The amazing Kristy Behrs over at Wreckless Photography tagged me in this fun little questionnaire. I just "heart" Kristy's work and the girl inspires me like nuts so make sure you check out her blog.
Four (4) things I did today…
1- Cried while making the 25 minute commute to school while listening to "You'll Come" sung by Brooke Fraser of Hillsong. Don't ask me why I cry when I am in awe. I just do!
2- Desperately tried to breathe through my day, regardless of my lack of sleep last night. I was at the Passion Conference downtown and didn't get into my bed until after midnight. Sad hey? I'm terrible on little sleep.
3- Checked off almost my entire to-do list! It's quite entertaining when I'm tackling my to-do list. I'm usually running all around my house, packaging DVDS, printing labels, scanning contracts, answering emails, scheduling shoots/meetings, pulling my hair out at how full my calendar is and then boiling cup after cup of hot water to make green tea to make this activity all possible.
4- Marvelled at how glad I am the price of gas is coming down. It's come down about 15% in the past two weeks! Yay! Americans, it's still more expensive that your gas, so don't complain to me. I won't hear it.
Four (4) things on my to do list…
1- Study like a madwoman tonight for my Economics mid-term tomorrow and my Business midterm on Thursday.
2- Location scout this evening for a sweet maternity shoot tomorrow for two of my favourite people in the world, my youth pastor Scott and his amazingly beautiful wife Aubyn.
3- Enjoy a relaxing dinner out with the family before driving my brother to his bible study group.
4- Answer all of the questions from the "Ask Jamie a Question Day" post a few days ago!
Four (4) of my guiltiest pleasures…
1- Waking up on a Saturday morning, getting outta bed to go to the bathroom (I just gotta go!) and then climbing back into bed with a good book. Staying there for another two hours.
2- Pumpkin Pie. Need I say more? A-MAZ-ing.
3- Going to a huge used book store and spending a couple hours there. I love to look through every aisle, and just completely stock up on everything my heart desires. I love the mood of used book stores; I could just people watch forever.
4- Dreaming. Dreaming about life, my future, my family, my travels, memories. All of it.
Four (4) random facts about me…
1- I have always dreamed of living somewhere on the East Coast; whether that be a small home in Prince Edward Island, a plantation somewhere in New England, or just a small home in Maine. I adore the feel of the East Coast. The abundance of white architecture, the ocean, the crisp air.
2- I'm such a morning person! Well, I'm not one of those folks that comes "bounding" outta bed all ready to start the day with a smile, but I much prefer my mornings over evenings. After about 10 o' clock at night, I'm really really useless. Don't ask me anything because you'll probably get a jumbled answer.
3- I find myself very incapable of writing short answers to any of these questions. I am learning that I'm not a "girl of few words"--I like to write, a lot. That probably explains the five full journals I have over the past four years of my life.
4- If I wasn't a photographer, I would go to school for Graphic Design. Typography is my absolute favourite.
Four (4) people that I want to tag to pass this onto to hear more about...
1- Sarah Barlow
2- Kristen Leigh
3- Leah Tan (a sweet photographer who I just met last weekend here in Vancouver!)
4- Melissa Jill
Enjoy!!

I think its amazing how you tackle so much school work and photography work all at the same time!
Impressive. :) One day when you're not so busy you should charge people for your time. LOL I'd pay to pick your brain on the business end of things!

=)
liked the way i described your blog? hehe
Prince Edwards Island??? I swear I read EVERY Misty book about that place when I was a girl!
i agree with "not hearing it" in regards to the Americans and fuel prices. $4 per gallon (or whatever it was when i was travelling the US in July) is nothing compared to the $7 price we are paying here in Australia not to mention the UK at around $9. However, i'm very excited the prices are coming down... slowly but surely! and Brooke Fraser is Brilliant!!
