On Saturday, I drove to Delta, BC to photograph Andrea, her sister Lauren and her mom Sherry out at Pony Pals Riding Stable, where Andrea has been riding every Saturday for the past 3 years. I had so much fun! I love shooting at a location that means something to the subject. I even learned a bit about horses (which I know nothing about, and for the majority of my childhood was deathly afraid of!) and can now say that I know what "tacking" is. :)
It was FREEZING cold and the girls were such troopers! Especially Lauren who was in bare feet and flats, poor girl. My feet didn't defrost until about 2 hours later; but the pain was worth it, I think. :)
Andrea is interested in commercial modeling, so the shoot was primarily to start a portfolio for her, but we also took a few shots of the girls together with their mom for their dad's Christmas present.
Andrea, with the horse she rides, named Bugsy!
I love this one!
And here's the slideshow.

These look great! Beautiful colors as usual, and you can't even tell they were freezing! :)
