My best friend was born! In 3 days, my mom Lois will celebrate her 50th birthday. That's amazing! 50 years! The last month has been absolutely bonkers planning her party, but it was all worth it. We celebrated with close to 50 guests last night and had a fantastic time.
The piles of homework and business related tasks I'm behind on, the hours of running around, the stress of planning, the set-up, the take-down the organizing: it was all worth it. Because she's worth it! I am so thankful to have an amazing mother like her. Mom, here's to you!
The finished product of the decorated room:
A centerpiece detail, and a fun game we played at the start:
My brother and I couldn't stop laughing at this picture when we looked at it. I asked him to take a picture of my mom and I (y'know to get in a few: I'm always the photographer!) And my Dad comes over at the last minute, and...not having a chair, squats down. He looks hilarious!
Another shot by my brother: Excuse the grain, he forgot to turn the flash on.
My wonderful, sometimes mess-of-a-family at the end of the night. Love you guys!
